May 2006 Project Update
eMi has just finished and is currently delivering the report summarizing our findings and recommendations regarding the camp. eMi has recommended that the ministry begin a search for a larger piece of geologically stable land that will accommodate the needs and program of the youth camp. It is our hope and prayer that the Lord provides the right piece of land. The ministry has begun a search for new lands that will someday be the location of “The best youth camp in Bolivia!”
Original Project Scope
YFC Bolivia has a dream – as their brochure says – to build the best camp in Bolivia – a center or youth evangelism and leadership training. For 15 years God has been using YFC Bolivia’s unconventional methods to transform lives of young people across the nation: backpacking trips on ancient Inca trails, spending a day in the shoes of a shoe shiner, heavy metal concerts in bars, soccer and basketball, creative minstry trips, dramas, camps, classroom talks and much more.
Their desire now is to master plan a new camp with a full architectural program and multiple buildings/structures on new land. As such, we’ll need a team to surveying, architectural and structural design and develop water and wastewater and electrical designs.
