Project Profile
Central Asia
Gospel Worker's Kids International School
EMI Project 5430

June 15- 26, 2007

Original Project Scope
In the heart of Central Asia this non-denominational international school serves over 100 families in ministry from over 11 countries serving with 34 different organizations. These families are involved in 13 different kinds of ministries, ranging from Bible translation and church planting to drug rehabilitation and shelters. This school is providing cost effective and high quality education, at international standards, which cannot be found in any other part of Central Asia. However, the current school has reached its maximum enrollment capacity and the existing facility has been deemed inadequate in meeting proper earthquake zone standards. A government seismic agency has recently declared the current facility “high risk”.

The objective of the EMI team will be to master plan the new property, design a new school facility and services for 250-300 students with an adjacent play field, engineer the water/waste water system, locate a water well and investigate power supply and distribution. The master plan will include future phases which could include boarding facilities for 100 children, staff housing and a second school building.

You can support over 100 families in ministry spread throughout this region by helping this school provide their children with excellent education in a safe, beautiful environment. By caring for God’s workers and their families, we will enable them to focus on their work of spreading the Gospel and living God’s love to all in Central Asia. Come make a difference!
