eMi Project 5418

Project Scope
With eight years of service, Hospitals of Hope has gathered and distributed well over 20 million dollars worth of medicines, equipment, and supplies to 18 foreign countries and low-income clinics – all for free! eMi first partnered with Hospitals of Hope in 1999 by sending a design team to Cochabamba. Construction of a new hospital in the rural community of Vinto, outside Cochabamba, began in January of 2003 and after completing their initial phase of development, they are ready to tackle the challenge of adding a 100-bed wing to the existing building. Check out their aerial tour of the hospital at http://www.hospitalsofhope.org/boliviatour.htm .

This new phase of development will include not only the one-hundred bed in-patient wing, but also seven new surgical suites, and eight in-patient specialty services suites (such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, pulmonary/respiratory care, cardiology,…)

Hospitals of Hope’s motto is “Showing Christ’s love by healing bodies and souls.” Join this team and be a part of a mission that’s touching people in body and soul - to heal, restore, and build up in the same spirit as eMi’s tag line – “designing a world of hope!
