Orginal Project Scope
River Gee County is the poorest county in Liberia with few social services and very little infrastructure. Government programs have been slow to reach this area of the country. Evangelical church leadership is mostly inactive and the local church is in need of leadership training and support. Christian Humanitarian Assistance Program (CHAP) has a long-term vision to both partner with the local church and to reach out to the poor of River Gee County through the establishment of a ministry center. The center will include Bible courses for local pastors, adult vocational and agricultural training, medical facilities, and primary and secondary schools. A full site master plan is needed to depict the long-term vision. Phase 1 of the vision requires the design of a multi-purpose building. In the long-term, this building will serve as the administrative center with accommodations for visiting teams, training classrooms, and a large group meeting room. In the immediate future, this building will serve all of the CHAP and partner programs.
