January 28 - February 8, 2010

Original Project Scope
In the late 1980's the Lord called G.N. Mark Dahn and his family to serve in ministry in Liberia, but the death threats during the brutal civil war forced him and his family into exile in the Ivory Coast. After seven years there, the Dahn family had the opportunity to go to the U.S. for Biblical studies with the hope of one day returning to Liberia to share Christ, make the glory of God evident, and help his people. By October 2005, he was surrounded by godly leadership in the U.S. and succeeded in establishing Light Evangelism Ministry, a 501( c)3. Through his leadership efforts nationals of Liberia and Guinea have become pastors, evangelists, and volunteers for the sake of the gospel and in the first four years over 1,800 have come to know the Lord personally In 2006, LEM was able to acquire 10 acres of land on the outskirts of Monrovia where they will build a ministry base to include a Multi-Purpose Education Center (K-12 school and Bible/vocational institute), library, campus worship center, social hall, clinic, dormitories, staff housing, and sport facilities. They will also develop the allotted access road to the campus from the main highway. A team is needed at this stage to develop the site master plan and design the first building - the Multi-purpose Education Center.

This is a great opportunity to come alongside a godly man who has endured much to bring the hope of Christ to Liberia.
