Project Scope
Come and see a unique part of India as we serve in the northeastern state of Assam this fall through developing a master plan for a theological college and seminary. Bibles for the World is an Indian organization with an amazing history, its founder coming from a tribe of former headhunters which long ago came to know and follow Jesus upon hearing the message from a visitor to their area. The result was a transformed people group who are now spreading the message to other needy places in their region of the world. BFW purposes to provide quality training and education to future leaders and to send them well-equipped to minister to the spiritual needs of people everywhere.
EMI will provide a master plan for a new residential theological college which will service 300 or more students. The land for this institution is about 7 acres in size and located in a semi-rural but rapidly developing area near Guwahati. Our EMI team will survey the site and develop a site plan. Schematic architectural plans will be needed for initial buildings such as residential, classrooms, and dining. In addition, conceptual level plans for the development of site infrastructure such as water supply, wastewater, drainage, and electrical systems will be needed.
