Years at EMI: 12. Twelve years at EMI as a staff member. When I first came in 93 I was one of four staff and EMI would host one to three interns per semester. My first three experiences with EMI were as a volunteer.
Family
I am going on eighteen years of marriage to Tamra and we have five boys, Nathan(15), Aaron(13), Joshua(11), Asa(6), Seth(3). We live in Colorado Springs.
Professional Training and Experience
I have a bachelor of architecture, University of Arkansas and masters of architecture degree, Washington University St. Louis. I have had limited but enjoyable teaching experience and in my professional experience has focused on the design of jails, prisons and university buildings.
Ministry Experience
I have been in thirty different countries but have traveled back and forth to India about 20 times. Eight of the thirty countries I visited as a tourist the others I traveled to for the sake of the gospel. All of my ministry experience comes from EMI. I traveled first as a volunteer and now as a staff & CEO. Working through EMI has allowed me to serve so many of God’s chosen to whom he has imparted great vision for reaching the world.

Thailand, because I fell in love with the people and was amazed by the culture on my visit there in 1996.
